I haven't had many garments in this shade of green over the years, and I'm loving this one! The green is such a rich color -- definitely a more traditional Hunter Green (I wasn't able to capture it in my photo, which has too much light and makes it look much lighter than it actually is -- it's actually VERY true to the product photos!). It looks amazing and will go well with my more buttoned-up work suits, as well as a pair of jeans. Gold jewelry looks great against this fabric and creates a luxe effect. The sweater is pretty simple and straightforward, but stands on its own because of its quality and color, in my opinion. The fabric is not too thick, but it is thicker than a lot of lightweight sweaters I've ordered. It's a very well-constructed sweater for the price. The seams are nicely finished, it doesn’t feel flimsy or like it’s going to lose its shape after a few wears, and it has enough structure to look polished without feeling stiff. Fit-wise, the sizing was accurate for me -- my usual size small was spot on (I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs). It’s flattering and drapes nicely, whether I wear it tucked in or left out. It’s definitely one of those pieces that looks put together without any effort, which I love for busy mornings. It seems very low-maintenance. This is a heavier shirt that, even though it’s called a wool blend, is only 5% wool so it lacks a lot of the beneficial properties of wool. I will say it is quite comfortable and soft. The neckline has a tendency to ripple instead of lay flat if your upper body is moving around a lot. It is a bit thicker of a shirt, so it’s good for those days you need something a little warmer but not quite long sleeves. I love the color of this - it’s a nice, rich forest green. Read more
Ok hang with me on this one- this shirt arrived today and as soon as I felt it, I couldn’t WAIT to put it on. So please excuse the wrinkles! But oh my is it not just the softest shirt in my closet now! WOW!! I love wool and viscose fabrics. I believe they are just divine and feel so amazing against the skin. They breathe well, they lay against the body nicely, they travel beautifully, and they don’t retain odors. So I knew I HAD to order this shirt. And boy was I right! It is a simple cut, nothing over the top. But something that you can dress up or down for any occasion. The shoulders fit perfectly and the armpits do not cut in. The neckline is great, though I admit I would love this shirt in a v neck! The fabric drapes nicely, though I probably wouldn’t wear it with a belt as you would be able to see the bulge of the buckle. The shirt is true to size (I am 6’, 155lbs, 34C, as medium as they come), and is just so incredibly flattering. I want this shirt in every color! I will for sure be wearing this a lot, and it will become a staple in my capsule travel wardrobe! Read more
