I’m surprised by these houndstooth pants! The material is much different than I was expecting, it’s a textured, super stretchy and very comfortable & breathable fabric. The band at the top of the waist does give some tummy control- but it’s very, very light. I do wish that panel extended down a bit further, as on me where the band hits is where I’m already my smallest and would be much more beneficial in my lower abdomen area. The cut is flattering, they are true to size and are super comfy to wear due to the good stretch they offer. For me they cut off right above the ankle. I wore them with a slightly oversized mock neck sweater and didn’t have any issues like I generally do with bottoms. The only other slight thing I would want changed is the gold buttons- personally I would prefer a black button or even none at all. They are on the thinner side and wouldn’t recommend wearing them if doing any extended wear outside in the cold weather, but perfect breathability for spring and summer! Price is pretty good for a comfortable pair of pants that actually fit well! Just don’t take the tummy control as the main purchase point. Read more
