Womens Y2k Fall Sweaters 2025 Casual Soft Knit Crewneck Sweater Long Sleeve Jumper for Teen Girls

I took a chance on ordering this sweater because at the time I ordered they only had a size XS in the Beige color and normally I would have ordered a size Small or more often a Medium, but it fits perfectly. I received it yesterday and tried it on immediately and haven’t taken it off since! It has been keeping me warm like my old wool sweaters used to, but it looks and feels extremely soft. I think the oversized style of the sweater is the reason why the XS size fits me so well. I am almost 70 years old and would not be wearing the sweater off the shoulder as shown in the Manufacturer’s photo and hence would not want the neckline to be too big. For reference, I am 5’5” tall, weigh 145 lbs and a bust size of 38” and I think the XS size is perfect for me. The seams at the shoulder come down almost 4 inches below my shoulder and the sleeves go all the way down to the end of my wrist/top of my hands. The neckline looks like a perfect boat neckline, wider than a normal neckline, but not so wide it wants to hang off my shoulder. It is also not as baggy on me as is represented in the Manufacturer’s photos. Nice soft sweater, and the cream color will match a lot of things. I was a little concerned about the neckline, which seemed almost off the shoulder, but after looking at it it’s probably better described as a boatneck. I did size down a little (from a small to an extra small) when I ordered this with my tall and thin 12 year old granddaughter in mind, and I think it’s going to fit perfectly … plenty long, but not so oversized as to be sloppy. This is the perfect sweater! While I would recommend wearing a long sleeve under and a jacket over with winter coming, it's not too thin and has really nice coverage. I love the fit because of that 'a bit oversized' look. It gets really warm because the material is so soft already so I would keep that in mind when layering.
