Very well made. Easy use and is washable. My toddler broke his elbow and needed to hold his arm still for 6 weeks. Trying to keep his arm in place with a sling and ace bandages was impossible! After wrestling with them for two days and both of us frustrated, I ordered this and had it the next day. This is smooth and quick to take off and put on when we change his clothes. Absolutely fantastic for head of humerus and rotator cuff injuries! If the hand/forearm aren't injured/dont need to be immobilized, you can simply not use the waist wrist cuff. Perfect for maintaining shoulder immobilized at all times, even sleep. I am now back to vinyasa yoga, with modifications of course, because of this immobilizer. Read more
Purchased for my mom who suffers with back spasms when walking for exercise. Immobilizing the arm prevents the ability to swing the arm (as pistons or natural swing) preventing the back spasms. She can do a 5k without pain and she’s actually been able to do 4 miles without pain as well. Read more
Get the blue one if you need your upper arm not to move. I started with the gray one but the elastic arm band did not hold my arm stationary. The upper arm band of the blue one is not elastic and it is connected to the body of the brace, rather than the elastic. See photos. Works really to keep my arm from moving and it's much more comfortable than the brace the hospital gave me. I did use the over-shoulder strap from my hospital brace, on this one. At this point in my recovery, it feels more secure. Removing one star, because I wish the product description would be clear about the difference in brace types. This item was great, but the size chart is not clear. I measured as it said to, I was 39" so I ordered the size 30"-41" and it was too small. It is 41" long to the tip so there was very little overlap, and it felt tight. I had to return it for the larger size that says 42"-54", it is much better, very comfortable. FYI, when I measured it, it is only 51" long not 54" so order the larger size if your close to the limit. I have a non-union fracture in my left humerus, and this helps keep my arm at my side and still be able to type and use both hands. I love the black because it looks ok with everything, my old one was blue. Read more

Once it's on it feels comfortable but for me it was very hard to put it on by myself. If you get it, you will need help to put it on. I returned and they have a great costumer service no issues for the return. Read more
