I LOVE these lanterns. I bought 2 at first, then I bought 6 more. The flame flickers like fire. The sun charges the lantern during the day, so they shine at night. I like the handle, so I can hang it on a shepherd's hook. I like the atmosphere they create. I leave them outside rain or shine. I did bring them in when it got down to 15 degrees, but I don't know that I needed to. I plan to get 2 more, to line my sidewalk. Read more

The media could not be loaded. As brightness and overall vibe goes, 5 stars. Only giving it 4 stars because the lantern in the middle is part of 4-pack I bought 4 years ago and that is the last working lantern. It’s dimmer than the new ones however it was the only one still lit at 6 am where these new ones had already turned off. I guess the internal batteries have changed? Also, in time, the plastic solar lens on top gets really, really hazy and probably blocks most of the solar input if you don’t have a way to polish it (like a headlight lens. Still, these are pretty stinking cool, give off good light and get compliments. Buy these! Read more
