Bought in March 2023 mainly to use on plane rides and beach outings so not in use majority of the time. Noticed the volume was not as loud on this past April trip and yesterday there is no volume. Ok unit, with a few quirks

More like a 3.5 star item. Picture quality is mediocre and the player will randomly decide that it won’t play a Blu-Ray disc, at times it will not play a Blu-Ray disc that it has played before( from either the beginning or one that you stopped, and want to watch the rest later) Volume levels are pretty weak as well. It does play dvds (90% of them, but will randomly throw the same unknown disc message as it does for Blu-Ray) Screen size is pretty good, if you use either headphones or an auxiliary speaker it does ok, you have to adjust your screen angles to get a good picture- kinda like the old projection TVs. Better than the smaller Sylvania units but that primarily due to my preference for a larger screen. As long as you keep your expectations reasonable it will work ok with DVDs. Read more
