Great stand, if your laptop is shorter, you can squeeze the stand a bit more so it's not too wide. It's very basic but does the job. Comes with some rubber stickers in case you need to place them under the legs. Also comes with sand paper in case the wood is splinting. No polish on the wood, that's why. it is advertised as like a bamboo laptop stand so i thought it would be smooth and have a coating on it. nope, literally just pieces of wood that you have to sand yourself and it comes with no instructions. i tried to assemble it and it is so flimsy, it doesnt hold my laptop well at all and bends under the weight. i have a small 14" laptop. my keyboard did not fit underneath either. only very thin keyboards like apple keyboards will fit in that tiny space. I was a little nervous when I saw the included piece of sandpaper. Once I opened the packaging and realized what it was, i became super ecstatic. This stand is raw wood which means you can make it your own! You can stain it, paint it, or just throw a coat of poly on it. You can even just leave it as is if you like the raw, unfinished wood look. It was very simple to put together and fits my 15.6" laptop without an issue and remains sturdy. It is portable! It easily comes apart so it will fit in my laptop bag for when i travel. The lower slot is very functional. I use the lower area to hold the dock for my laptop so when I want to attach monitors, I can with ease. I will be ordering more to customize for each of my laptops for both at home and at my office. There isn't a ton to review here, this is some wood that fits together to make a good stand for your laptop. The wood is not super smooth but you shouldn't get any splinters. The cross pieces do have to be sanded lightly (you don't want to do too much or they will be too loose) but they include some heavy grit sand paper which works fine. My 17 inch workstation feels totally stable on this with no issues and there is a decent amount of space below to tuck away some accessories or cables. Overall a great value at just ten bucks.
