I find this pill organizer to be perfect for my needs. It holds my prescription (2 pills daily) as well as 3 or 4 other supplements that I take. The magnets holding the top to the bottom portion are the perfect size to keep the lid on and turn from day to day easily. I like the bamboo because it's quite smooth and no splinters. Would work for travel as well. Great product. Read more
Solidly made. The cover is magnet-attached and comes off easily but not too easily. When I bring it for travel I ran a rubber band around it just in case. For me, it holds a small tablet, a gummy, and a regular large chewable. Could probably hold a couple more tablet/caplet style pills on top of that or more if you didn't add in the chewables. Check the dimensions, S that space and the circle design have implications for overall size. If I had to pack really tiny I probably wouldn't bring this, and for instance it's a little too big to fit in a pocket, but I don't need it to do either of those. It looks a hundred times nicer than a plastic pill organizer on the countertop and of course could feasibly last many years without creating plastic waste. I just hate using plastic if I can help it. The letter for each day is also a nice feature to keep it usable. Overall is good quality and what you would want it to be if this is the kind of thing you're looking for. Read more
With only one review and other similar (nearly identical) pill organisers on Amazon listed for twice as much, I was skeptical, but wanted to save money, so bought this. I am so glad I took the chance! I have been looking for a pill box that isn’t the typical ugly plastic flip containers, and would actually look stylish or at least unassuming on my nightstand or countertop. I also wanted something with enough capacity for larger supplement capsules, like the giant fish oil caps I take. And be easy to refill and use- not having to flip up each compartment to refill, eg. This totally delivered on every front! The wood is really smooth and well-machined. The way the magnet closure works, it’s easy to slide the top around to different days, but also take the whole top off to refill it more easily. I even did the upside down test (with pills in it!) and it did not budge. Probably best to put it in the bag it comes with for travel, though, just to be safe since the lid could potentially come off if jostled around in a bag I guess. Also, when the lid is on, it seals each compartment so pills don’t end up in other compartments if jostled. I tested this, too. The capacity is also much bigger than I thought! The compartments are deep enough that my fish oil capsules can stand vertically in the compartment, meaning if you took a lot of larger capsule pills, this would likely accommodate all of them. And it’s stylish/unassuming. I kind of wish there was a pattern or something on the lid, too, instead of being just blank, but if you’re crafty you could stencil something, or paint the lid or base, etc. The fact that the lid is plan is not even really a complaint, and the features and overall quality really surpassed my expectations. Sturdy, convenient, and aesthetically pleasing. Nice wood and strong little magnets. Read more
I use this wooden pill box for daily medication, and it has been easy and convenient to use. The magnets hold the case securely closed while still detaching easily when it’s time to refill. The pill compartments spin smoothly, which makes removing pills simple and frustration-free. Everything feels well-aligned and easy to operate. I also like the compact size. It takes up less space in my cabinet compared to larger pill organizers while still holding what I need. Overall, it feels practical, well-designed, and easy to use for everyday medication storage. This pill box is well made of an attractive, light colored wood. The clever magnetic cover is very strong, so you can just spin it from day to day to dispense the pills from the spaces holding them. A few things to note: 1) I would not recommend this product for someone with limited dexterity because the spaces holding the pills are deep and it's a bit tricky to fish the pills out. I guess one could tip them into the palm. 2) The days of the week run from Sunday to Saturday while moving the lid clockwise, instead of a conventional pill box where days of the week run from left to right and may begin on Monday instead of Sunday. This arrangement may confuse some. 3) Tuesday and Thursday are both etched as "T" and Saturday and Sunday are both etched as "S." This may confuse some because the conventional second letters (Tu, Th, Sa and Su) are not used. 4) Check the height and width of the box in product description if you intend to travel with it. It's a bit large and I'm not sure the lid would be secure enough for traveling. Overall though, this item is very nice for use at home by someone with normal dexterity and cognition who wants to replace ugly pill bottles with something nicer. Read more
Love this container. It's easy to use, looks nice, and when you look at it you don't automatically assume that it's a pill organizer. The compartments are a nice size for the one daily med I take plus some supplements. The magnet is strong so I never worry about it coming open accidentally. Read more
My wife has two of these and absolutely loves them. She was looking for something that wasn’t the ugly transparent plastic that you see everywhere. She wanted something cute, easy and easy to use. It would be awesome if they had different size for travel. She often uses a rubber band to hold the top on just in case it gets jostled around in luggage.. There is a strong magnet that holds the lid on but the rubber band is just out of precaution, not necessary. It’d be nice to see different colors as well, but of the same wood material. Most importantly, there affordable.. Read more
