My wife and I were very happy to give this product a try for our 4-year-old and 14-month-old sons to play with. We did have a similar plastic version of this with a standalone cart, but we were interested in getting this in favor of that because of its wooden nature and because the size of this was smaller (we are running out of space in our play room, especially after bringing down a couple of bookcases from the kids' bedroom). Overall, both of us are happy with the item. The quality of the ice cream accessories, especially the posicles and the ice cream themselves, are excellent, with smooth, sturdy wood painted with good detail making them look like real ice cream. Both of our sons have loved playing with the new toy; our 4-year-old especially likes this more than the other one that we used to have because this one contains a bit more variety in terms of flavor. The workings of the scoop isn't the best but definitely passable, and I actually thought that it is easier to place and stack the scoops onto the cone and cup with this version. From an assembly perspective, my wife and I were able to do it in about 5 minutes or so. The included instructions are easy to follow and the overall assembly is straightforward. The only thing that we do want to point out is that we have actually seen the wheels fall off (basically, it loosens with the kids rolling the cart around) a bit too easily; it would be good if that can be re-enforced in subsequent versions of this product. Also, more as a FYI, the first item that we received actually was missing the pistachio ice cream (it came with two chocolates), but it was easy enough to go through Amazon to request a replacement, which arrived very quickly. I didn't deduct any stars for this because of how easy it was to get a replacement (and mistakes can happen). Overall, we would recommend this product. Read more
