I love, love, love this computer stand design! It is simple to use, lightweight, works wonderfully AND is completely recyclable! It also comes with a handy wooden phone stand which if you charge your phone through your computer works super well. I could not have designed a better product if I had done it myself. This laptop stand is well-made, looks great, folds flat for travel, and securely holds my 16" MacBook Pro at every angle. What's not to like? -Nothing, perhaps, if you're using your laptop close to eye level at a desk or table. But if you like to set your laptop on the kitchen counter to follow your recipes as you cook, this is not the best design. The reason is that this stand only raises the rear of the laptop, not the front. As a consequence, at most adjustment angles the screen cannot tilt up enough to squarely meet my line of sight when I'm in a standing position. Only at the lowest setting can I swivel the laptop screen so as to be perpendicular to my line of sight. But that setting doesn't give me the height off the countertop I need to more clearly read my recipes. This is not a problem with stands that elevate both the front and rear of the laptop, such as the Rain Design mStand that I also own. Read more
This laptop stand is super cute and works exactly as advertised. I wanted something with a natural wood finish to add to my desk as I hate too much sterile, corporate plastic type items in my workspace. This helped me fulfill this niche design requirement! Also, the little extra phone stand is a nice touch and works perfectly. Price was awesome, the size was perfect, and it is definitely portable for packing into a laptop bag. Love! 💕 Read more
Lovely product! It has multiple levels to adjust its height, it is very lightweight and my 15inch laptop fits well on it. I use it on a wood table and I find it pretty slippery on that surface (some rubber bands would have been good as an addition). Read more
This stand is perfect. Firstly, it is cheap, Secondly, it has a nice appearance, made from quality solid wood (Tupelo I guess), well assembled' and has a nice coft to touch finish. Most and foremost, it has a wide base, and you can use it while in bed and watching movies. I have been using my laptop in bed or on a couch. Since the vent holes of the laptop are on the bottom, resting it on cloth surfaces or even on my lap isn't ideal. I basically wanted something to space the vent holes. In addition, my wife props her laptop on storage boxes to get the camera to the right height. I also sometimes use a laptop on a table and the camera angle isn't great it's own. This product takes care of both use cases. It works extremely well for it's intended function: to angle your laptop computer upwards. There is a lot of adjustability to this simple device so you can set the height/angle. In addition, if I have it on my lap, I make the stand flat and flip it around so the feet of the laptop hit the ridge the stand's edge. This configuration allows the laptop to rest on my lap at an angle without siding. The stand has a slot that happens to line up with the vent holes of my Framework laptop (see last picture). My work laptop's vents also benefit from the gaps in the wood even though they don't line up exactly. Overall, I am really happy that I took a shot on this simple, relatively cheap solution.
