It's strange because when I purchased this item it had plenty of reviews and pictures, but somehow they're all gone? Anyway-- PROS: This pill box is slim with lovely carvings on the top...it looks so much better sitting on my side table than my former plastic one did. It's sturdy and can lie down flat or stand up tall. The vitamin compartments pull out exactly like a drawer, with hidden magnets locking each "day" in place as you pull it out. Also, you can spin this container around or dangle it upside down and everything stays locked in place. Overall it's a simple, yet clever design. CONS: Each compartment can fit a total of five standard-sized vitamins only. I bring this up because the products picture makes it appear like it has a larger capacity than it actually does. It does have plenty of room for smaller pills though. Despite the small compartments, I'm giving this 5 stars because it's a great quality product for those who want an attractive organizer for a few pills, looks exactly how pictured, and functions better than I expected. I am so glad I bought this! I am always forgetting my night medication. I forget even with night and day pill cases. I decided if I had something I could keep out I would not forget. It is exactly as described. Easy to fill because the inside is independent, it comes all the way out. Fits two larger capsules and four pills with room for more (see picture). Easy to keep each 24 hour supply in order. I keep my day's dosage in a small crystal bowl so I won't forget to take them. It is made well, slides well, and the pattern in the wood is pretty; it looks gorgeous on my copper shelf (see picture). Don't care if it doesn't last forever (as a bad review stated); I like it so well, I'll just buy another. A rubber band stretched lengthwise makes it safe for travel, which I used to use on the plastic ones before I discovered the little pouches they sell at the drugstore which save more space in your suitcase. Really beautiful organizer. Blends in seamlessly with my dark brown "wood" vanity, almost looks like an accessory that was made for it. It's so cute. Very well made and relatively smooth motion coming in and out of the outer shell. Lightweight but sturdy, doesn't feel cheap at all, and no sharp edges or unfinished wood feeling. Smooth and elegant, and no one would ever know what it is which is great if you need it to be low-key. I actually enjoy looking at it when taking my pills and the texture is nice to the touch, too. Almost relaxing. Much easier and less stressful than opening and closing multiple bottles multiple times a day.
