Bought this for a one year old for their birthday. Totally taken by surprise when the parents sent me a video of their child playing the xylophone, tapping the triangle being held by their father and then blowing the wooden kazoo. Even their parents didn't expect them to pick it up so naturally. So would have to say an excellent selection, size of the instruments and ease of use for younger children. Sure beats a phone screen! These are a good little value set. My kiddo loves all the different noises - ESPECIALLY the kazoo. But I just would not feel comfortable writing this review without a word of caution: the triangle, jingle bells, and drum each have small parts that are dainty and could easily come loose and be swallowed by your little one. For this reason, we don't let kiddo play with these unless we are sitting right next to him and playing along. I would not leave these in his play pen while I do the dishes, for example. Too much of a risk. But the toys themselves seem good enough quality. The skin of the drum and tambourine are very thin . . . I'm wondering how long they will last with rough toddler beats. Read more
