These go really well with my dining furniture! I've been using an odd assortment of cheap potholders, cork lids that used to be on candle jars, drink coasters stacked two high, and my single enameled iron trivet from my Mamaw. I really have been wanting a matching set of trivets and really like this trivet tree idea! Of course, being that the trivets are wood, any hot dishes are going to scald the wood. But, it's better the trivet get scalded than my buffet cabinet or my dining room table! Over time the trivet tree may not look so pretty, but it's at least functional and stylish, and yes, takes up less space than an entire drawer of makeshift trivets. Read more

Excellent choice here if looking for a darker cherry wood trivet tree. I was skeptical when I first ordered this but was pleasantly surprised at how solid the pieces were. I’ll update this review as I use them if I find any issues with finish or durability. As of now, I’ve used as a coaster for a “sweaty” cold beverage, a cup of hot tea, and a casserole out of the oven. All seem to wipe clean and withstand use with no damage to tree pieces or my counter and/or table tops. It does the job. Good performance. Read more
