I’ve been doing a bit of cutting at the table saw and was looking for a woodworking apron that could keep my clothes from getting covered in sawdust, provide convenient access to my pencil and tape measure, and offer minor protection from small pieces of wood kick-back. I was concerned about how stiff the waxed canvas material would be from reading reviews of this product, but thought I’d give it a try. I was worried for nothing. This apron was ready to wear right out of the box. The padded strap system with the plastic quick release buckle is easy to adjust and works well. It’s comfortable both standing and sitting. The many pockets provide ample, convenient storage. And it really helps to keep the dust off my clothes. Glad I got one that was a little longer than the waist-length aprons. Read more
After waiting 3 days for delivery rather than the promised overnight delivery, I finally received the apron I had ordered. This is not a strike against the manufacturer or the apron itself, but against Amazon's delivery promises versus reality. The apron itself appears to be well made, with even stitching and bonding tape edges. The weight of the fabric feels sturdy, but I don't think it is the claimed 20-ounce fabric. It just doesn't feel that heavy. Several reviews had talked about how stiff this apron was; I did not find it to be overly stiff at all. I expected a waxed canvas apron to be stiff, but this proved to be quite flexible. Adjusting the straps and centering the strap retention piece did take more effort than anticipated, and I am not certain that I have accomplished that at this point. It will require wearing the apron several times for longer periods to determine if it is adjusted properly. The pockets all seem to sewn solidly. The bottom pockets are separate pockets, not one full pocket like found on most hoodies. That is a plus for me. The cellphone pocket holds my Galaxy S24, but the phone sets higher than expected; fortunately, the strap will keep the phone securely in place. Overall, I think this apron is a good value for the money and will serve me well for several years. Read more
I love this woodworking apron. Just what I needed. Very good size as far as covering your body from dust and debree from the saws and routers. I bought the mans size, wanted more coverage. If you are a woman you might consider to getting this particular one if you want coverage. All the pockets are perfect. Love the one for the phone. It straps it down so when you bend over it doesn't fall out. A little heavier and stiff then I wanted but that also keeps it in place. It has a clip on the back to hold it and shoulder comfort also. no more tying in the back or front. Very well made!! Read more
Great apron for shop woodworking and general construction. I like the sturdy build and pocket layout, always need more but limited space to sew them on. Tape measure clip and hammer loops. Pockets have flaps to keep sawdust out and items in. Magnetic strip may come in handy at some point as well. I am 6’2” 245# and it fits great. Easily adjustable and easy on and off. Only negative I have found so far that all my other aprons have is a hanger loop on the inside top center of the apron. Some people complain about stiffness of fabric, but I am wearing this in my shop not to lounge around the house and to sleep in (other than a nap in the zero gravity chair while waiting for paint, stain or glue to dry. Works great. Very well made. Fits me and my waist size is a 42 and it can fit larger sizes. Riveted corners on pockets. A lot of places to put tools or other things. Very comfortable. I’ve tried water repellent plastic type aprons but they get hot after wearing it for awhile. Easy to adjust and you don’t need to tie it in the back. There’s snap together buckles so it’s easy to put on and you can tighten or loosen the straps even while wearing them. They’re water resistant. I think they’re made of waxed cotton but I’m not sure. Water runs off the surface. Read more
