These are great. I'm an incidental mechanic and an amatuer at best. So I can't speak for how it would be to wear these all day. I mostly use gloves like this when something comes up that needs to be dealt with involving grease, oil, hydraulic fluid, or diesel. I've been looking for a different kind than the ones I've been using, which have a very tacky coating. It's actually sticky when it's hot in the garage or shop. It's also just slightly too thick. The coating on these gloves is just right. Tacky enough for a positive grip on things, but not sticky. It's quite thin and flexible but still seems durable enough to protect my fingers from minor cuts as long as I'm paying attention. But you can feel a small screw and pick it up. I worked a bit on my chainsaw today, for example. When you handle the bar and chain, it's easy to occasionally get tiny little cuts here and there. Just the kind that are slightly annoying later in the day. Leather gloves will protect you, but you can't feel small parts very well in them. Also, they're packed in oil from then on. These fit the bill nicely. When you only have to handle things that are oily or greasy, these will keep your palms and fingers pretty clean. If your hand is suddenly soaked in fuel or hydraulic oil, it'll obviously soak through the woven nylon part. Another example is greasing the zerk fittings on a tractor. when you notice it, or you think something like, "How long has it been since I greased this one?" then it's probably time to do it. I typically think about i when I'm needing to just quickly do a job and I don't have an abundance of time. I never want to do it, because I always get grease on my hands somehow. I know it's best to just do it right then, and slipping on a pair of these makes it so I can just shut up and get it done before I forget, without having to go find the Fast Orange before I can get on with whatever job I really went out to do. I even keep a pair in the truck so I don't have to wash my hands after fueling up or filling jerry cans. These breath very well. The nylon is tough, stretchy, and soft to the touch. The price per dozen is pretty good. If I do somehow manage to get one soaked in fuel, I don't have to put it back in my truck cabin or try to wash it... I can just throw it away without too much remorse. I'm usually working in warm weather or heat and these do great. Not sure how they'll do in cold weather. I'm assuming they'll provide slightly better insulation than nothing, but I can't speak to that yet. They aren't really marketed as cold weather gloves, anyway. Even when my shop is cold, which could be any day now as I write this, I won't be wearing these all day anyway. I did try the claim that you can touch your phone screen with these (with a new, clean pair). Yes, it's true. I could tap and swipe easily. As for fit, I ordered these because I usually need 2XL. Sometimes XL in work gloves fits, but sometimes it's too snug for me. Depends on who makes it, I suppose. These were a bit too long in the fingers. Because they do stretch so well, I think I'll get XL next. Not so long that I can't use them, but they'd be better if my fingertips went all the way to ends of the glove fingers. Especially for handling fiddly little parts, though I've still been doing it anyway. So if most gloves are a bit too small for you, even 2XL, you might try these. All in all, highly recommended. I know better than that and always fit an XL and XXL. I went with my gut and got the XXL and thank goodness I did, as they fit perfect. With that out of the way I am impressed with these gloves. I gave them a workout spending the day installing and cutting aluminum gutter guards. They held up well with no signs of nicks or cuts, or my hands. The nitrile fingers and palms provide a nice slip free grip for small parts. They aren't waterproof, but afford a bit of water resistance. That said, while the back of the gloves are breathable, the nitrile areas don't breath as well, so I did experience sweating inside, which lead to some chilly fingers in colder weather. These will be great for automotive and small engine work as well. Overall though I'm glad to have these, and getting 12 pairs for $40 is a great value. Read more

Unboxing: The gloves are connected to a T-shaped plastic connector, which is common for gloves and easy to take off, but you'll need a cutting tool to do so. Setup: The gloves fit my hands perfectly and are easy to put on and take off. Build Quality: The blue fabric part of the glove allows good airflow, making it breathable, while the black nitrile section isn't as breathable, but still quite comfortable. They held up well during a whole day of cleaning my car, with no signs of damage. First Use: I used these gloves to clean my car. They gripped my vacuum, carpet cleaner, and steam cleaner well, as well as the tools I used to remove the seats. They worked well. Purchased these gloves in 2x .. they fit great! I don't do much intense work these days , but these gloves will serve me well protecting my "computer" soft hands! The knit bodies make them easy to slide on and the nitrile palm layer gives a nice bit of grip and protection. In my former life we had to use full leather or even kevlar lined leathers gloves ... well these won't replace those for hazardous conditions, but they are certainly easier to and more comfortable to wear. They are easy to roll up to stash in your tool box or the door pocket of your car. Ha, the palms have enough "tooth" to do a little defluffing on littly Molly good dog. This set of gloves is a great value. They fit true to size according to the measurements provided in the listing. I sized up as I would prefer a loose fit to a tight one and I have long fingers. This are really nice gloves, but they are overpriced. I am generally a size large in work gloves and these fit me perfectly. I had a small soffit-light rewiring project that I took on yesterday and the gloves were great. They have a really nice grippy-ness without feeling tacky or too thick in the fingers. They also are not too stiff and allowed my hands to move quite naturally. Usually I just use regular nitrile coated gloves and these are a really good upgrade. BUT $40 for 12 gloves? They are not worth that price tag, particularly with so many equivalent options on Amazon. Change the price point to be instep with the competition, and this is a 5-star glove IMO Read more
