I have purchased many sharpening kits over the years from 6 wet stones to KME precision sharpening kit and have had success with all of them. I saw an add about the work sharp system and liked the idea of the sanding belts. I used it this weekend to sharpen one of my knives to see how it works. The setup was easy and the guides were nice however I noticed that I needed to make sure the knife was against the guide as I made a few passes that were not. This was not a big deal but something that I need to remember. After about 14 passes on each side and a few on my strop my knife had a very sharp edge. It looks like this is very well made and works great, my only complaint is there is no case to hold all the components so I have a bunch of parts loose in my cupboard. I would think for around $20 they could have a nice case made and add it to the price and they will still be selling many units.
