I actually got this item for work rather than working out. I wanted something close fitting and easier to care for than a sweater. This light jacket is perfect. FABRIC: it is very soft & stretchy with a good weight to it. QUALITY: The seams all appear well stitched. The zippers are plastic, but don't seem flimsy. FIT: I saw someone else who mentioned that you should size up. I am between a M and a L and chose to size down because I wanted a close fit. This was the perfect choice for me. I was most worried that it would cut me under the arms, but that isn't an issue at all. I am only 5'2-5'3 and the arms are just a bit long. If you have very long arms, the thumb holes might not be comfortable for you. At my height, the hem reaches just above my rear and doesn't feel cropped at all. COLOR: I selected white.
