Well made of quality materials. Light weight and easy to use. The lightly textured surface makes it easy to hold and use. I get a lot of packages(boxes) from Amazon,and like to recyle them. I cut up about 15 boxes for recyling of various sizes,and the blade is still very sharp. Blade replacement is super easy,and takes less than 15 seconds. Very nice utility knife. I have been using it for cutting leather and it does a heck of a job with the provided razors. The build quality is sturdy and it has enough weight. The clicks into position are secure and the razor replacement method is simple. It feels good in the hand. The color is nice and true to the image. Works well — a little too well, actually. I will advise anyone to be extra-careful when attempting to cut through a box sealed with strapping tape. The blade may cut you when it hits the threads. Just like any other cutting tool, the blade can jump if it is hindered in any way during the cutting process. I cut my index finger with the box cutter as I was holding the box down with my left hand while using the box cutter with my right. The blade got caught on the tape threads and instead of cutting straight through the threads, it jumped and caught my index finger. It only took a second but my finger was sliced fairly deep. Luckily, the cut didn’t require stitches, which was good because it happened right around the Christmas holiday, but I’ve been hesitant about using this tool ever since. I only use it now if it is absolutely necessary to get boxes and other containers open. Be safe. Read more

I bought two of these knives to cut up old carpeting and padding in my house. They were sturdy and easy to use. I was able to cut up a household of carpet on one blade. The price was VERY reasonable and I was a bit suspicious that it would be cheaply made but not so. Highly recommend! Read more
