I travel for work and recently had to start bringing tools with me, which quickly raised the question of what can and can’t be carried on an airplane. It holds a surprising amount of tools, far more than you would expect at first glance. I’m probably using about 70% of its capacity, and it honestly feels like I’m carrying the same amount of tools I would normally have in a standard 16-inch toolbox. The difference is that this is soft-sided, lighter, and much easier to pack into carry-on or checked luggage. It’s easy to carry, easy to transport, and easy to bring onto a job site. I now use this for all of my hand tools and carry a separate tote for small power tools. This tool roll has genuinely changed how I think about carrying tools.
