Underwhelming performance. As another review stated, the suction when cleaning upholstery is not sufficient. My couch is still very wet, and I ran the vacuum over it probably 20 times. You can see the water pooling in the clear head, which doesn't have enough suction to fully extract it until you pull the head off the fabric. The steam is basically non-existent. I wanted to like this. Its a small form factor, and has the set of features I wanted for a fair price, but the lack of power is a deal breaker for me, and I'll be forced to return this. The touch control panel is way too sensitive, and the lack of controls on the head is extremely inconvenient. Read more

Terrible very disappointed in this expensive machine. I liked the design but with very little use my machine has already got burned up heating elements and won't stay running... dont waste your money!! Like I did... I wish work pro would make this right! Read more

I recently upgraded from using my trusty Bissell Little Green to this WORKPRO Steam Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner. I’m genuinely impressed with how far ahead this machine is. I used it to steam clean the rear cargo area in my 2014 car, and I wish I'd thought to take a picture of just how vile the water was when I was done. Probably just as well that you don't see it, actually. Here’s my breakdown: Real steam/stronger heat effect There is a real difference in how the steam (or vapor) feels coming out of this WORKPRO unit. It's noticeably hotter and more forceful than with the Little Green. It also feels like the steam is being forced much deeper into the upholstery. Better cleaning / stain removal Because the steam is stronger and the suction more effective, I saw that old, set-in stains from grocery bags, wet dogs, etc. lifted really thoroughly. The “before vs after” contrast is much sharper than what I would've been able to achieve using the Little Green. Spacious water / solution tank The WORKPRO has a decently sized tank, so I don’t have to stop every few minutes to refill when I do larger jobs than this one. That will be a welcome convenience when I get around to cleaning my couches and carpets. Design and usability It’s well balanced and the wand/hose reach is generous. The accessories are solid (crevice tool, upholstery brushes) and easy to switch. The trigger is responsive, and the steam mode toggles cleanly without much fuss. Overall durability feel The build gives me more confidence for long-term use. It feels more “serious” than the Little Green — less like a toy or spot-cleaner-only tool. I'm not going to get rid of the Little Green machine that I already have, because it's still useful for cleaning up relatively fresh spills and stains. But now that I've spent a few minutes using this WORKPRO machine, the limitations of the Little Green become really obvious. Very happy with this machine so far, and it's an easy five stars right now. Durability will be the real test, and if it fails, I'll update the review to reflect that. Read more

Steam/vacuum don't work together it only vacuum, over heats after 10 min on use then you have to give it a break for 10-15 min and to get it to work you have to move the hose around to get it to start Read more

I already have the little green machine and got the WORKPRO Steam Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner because my son borrowed the machine and I needed a second one. The WorkPro sets up easily with easy to read instructions. The cleaner gives off high power steam and is great for freshening up sofas, curtains and other upholstered items in the house. Unfortunately, the cleaner did not perform well as a spot cleaner. The suction is not as strong as the original green machine. The cleaned area was still quite wet and I had to put a fan on it in order to avoid for the wet smell. It's a decent upholstery cleaner but I still prefer the little green machine if I had a choice. The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for household use. Super easy setup, it comes with several attachments, the cord is long and the water buckets are easy to fill and empty. It did a great job at getting a tiny spot of some dried dog poop off a rug. My 2 issues are you have very little control over how much water comes out and the button is not on the handle it’s on the machine itself. Even if you push the button for water and immediately push it again to shut it off the water continues to flow for a while. My other issue is it does leave the rug very wet even after going over it 10 plus times and I could see this being an issue more so on furniture or car seats. Not knowing how far the water has traveled through your couch and if it is going to dry eventually or is it going to possibly cause mold? The machine is nice and sleek and takes up very little space but does have some design flaws in my opinion. This will work fine for me because I only need it to clean rugs and they dry thoroughly on their own. I don’t feel like this does a better job than my little green machine they’re about the same, however, the plastic top on the vacuum head comes off so I’m able to clean it which I absolutely love because I am unable to remove the top from my other machine and it’s been a pet peeve of mine since getting it. I think with a little more use and maybe cleaning a larger area than just a little stain this might work better. I am excited to try it on my car floor mats and use the steam feature. Read more
