In less than 6 months of daily use, no chemicals, cleaning with water and a soft rag, and no heat, I find the cork disintegrating onto me during my practice. Considering the cost of the mat, though the comfort and stability are top notch, I expected something that would not have to be replaced so soon. My other mats lasted me years, for far less money.
