So I made the big mistake of trying to save the environment by opting for shipping in the manufacturer’s packaging. Amazon should have not even offered that because the packaging was inadequate for shipment. As a result, the packaging got ripped and the larger rug got dirty in 2 places. Luckily, I was able to spot clean it without issue. I absolutely love these cotton reversible bath mats and I’ve had a different set for many years. To the folks who say they shed, indeed they do. This is normal though. You can vacuum them regularly (low suction, low pile setting and turn off your roller). Over time the shedding will cease. Also for washing - - cold water on gentle cycle is a must, must must! Wash alone (unless you want the rest of your clothes full of fluff) and dry on low temp or they will shrink. They do take a long time to dry but they are 100% cotton so that’s to be expected. I used to dry only for 15 minutes to fluff them up and then I’d lay them out on a drying rack and they’d be dry in 48 hours. Again, I’ve had my other rugs for over 20 years, trust me on this. They were perfect until my dog decided to shred them. I’ve been looking for a high quality replacement in this color for a long time. So happy I finally found these at such a great value. Purchased this rug for our bathroom. The color is great, it is softer than expected, and does not slip. I was pretty surprised with the quality but did not realize it is hand woven. It WILL shed in your washing machine and create a huge mess. I was upset at first, but it was my own fault for not checking the care instructions. Even with this happening it held up and I was able to hang it to dry. Have continued to hand wash and hang dry. I have not noticed any color fading. I will even pop it in the dryer on the lowest setting for about 10 minutes before air drying the rest of the way. Will definitely purchase again. Read more

I got this set because my old ones got dirty so quickly- I have an 11 year old son and a husband who works maintenance- and I found myself constantly vacuuming them in between washes with little success because of the fabric. These are 100% cotton and they don’t stain due to the nice dark navy color, and they are easy to vacuum with my hand vac in between washes. My only complaint is that during the first couple of washes, big clumps of cotton came off. It didn’t affect the look or feel of the mats, it was just annoying and a pain to clean out of the washer. The stitching isn't great. I was hoping it was reversible (I wanted to keep the underside face up) but on the opposite side you can see where the stitching is going crooked right in the middle of the pad, so I guess I'll be keeping it on the other side. It also reeked horribly when I opened the bag. It was almost as if someone had washed it with strong detergent and then returned it. 🤢 I'll definitely be needing to wash them a time or two before use. Hopefully that'll fluff up the fabric and cover the crooked stitching too. Not great quality, but it gets the job done since it's in a spare bathroom anyway. They're soft but do slide around. SO DISSAPOINTED! These fell apart after the first wash and look horrible now. AND THE FLUFF! OMG the FLUFF overloaded my dryer lint trap. I had to use 3 complete dry cycles and empty the lint trap multiple times...I'm terrified these are a fire hazard. I'm now past my return window. I've never seen so much lint in my life. These were really thick and soft and I love the neutral color. The 2 sizes are perfect. Because they are SO thick, they don't dry fast. They absorb really well especially with a 5 and 7 year old who splash and drip water all over the bathroom...but then they stay wet...have to hang them up every night so they are dry by morning, or they get smelly.
