I bought these to use for some lip ointment and sunscreen to keep in my purse. They have not leaked and are great for taking in my purse or pocket. Not sure how they would work if it was all liquid as I didn't try that but for ointment or lotion they are great! Helpful filling advice from another reviewer suggested if filling tube-to-tube to squeeze the air out of these and hold it with the air out; as you squeeze the product in from larger dispensing bottle slowly release the pressure on the smaller travel tube. It pulls the liquid/lotion/ointment into the travel tube through the suction you've created. If product starts to squeeze out between the openings, tap the bottom of the tube you are filling against the table to get the contents to settle down into the tube away from the opening and repeat the process until the travel tube is as full as you want. This absolutely worked and helped the process go quickly. Read more

I’m a creative business owner. I’ve used these for years as paint tubes for art kits and paint parties. They are perfect! They have never leaked and I can refill them. Read more

We are very pleased with the value and sturdiness of these refillable tubes. When we travel, we create minis of all our creams, and even oily hair balm has been totally leak proof. They fit in our travel bags easily, and are very versatile. They look great, and the clear material means you can easily see the contents. Tip: use all three of the parts - tube, tip and cap- on every product to create a tight seal. Read more

I got these for a great price! I think $8 for 20 of them. I use Lanisoh (lanolin) for my lips, but hated toting that big purple tube that screams "nipple balm." I was about to shell out $12 for a single little tube of pure lanolin in a lip gloss tube, when I thought to myself: "why don't I just put the Lanisoh in the tubes myself?" So off I went on my search. I bought these because of the price. Some of the tubes I received were not as "sealed" as I hoped (as in, if you put something in that's too runny, it might leak), and other tubes were perfect. They come in a big bag of all three items mixed in there (tube, cap, and the dispenser). I melted the Lanisoh, poured it in the tubes, and popped the dispenser on, then screwed the cap on, and was able to make 4 tubes! The cost savings is great. Also, since I have so many, I put thicker lotions and some other products into the tubes for travel (label them, I learned my lesson when I poured gommage peel liquid all over my lips out of the tube). Would repurchase if I needed more! Read more

I travel a lot, and I ordered these to fill them with all my liquids - generally for trips a week or less. However, some items I use very little of (Green Clean makeup remover, for one) and I just returned home from a 19 day European trip, where I went to Iceland, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece. These tubes worked perfectly for my face cleanser, cuticle cream, hair thickening serum, shampoo and conditioner, prescription face cream, and my liquid foundation. My liquids bag for Security Screening went from heavy and bulky (and usually split in two bags so my husband carries the other), to one lightweight quart bag. They are easy to fill, easy to wash and reuse, and I highly recommend them. I used the shampoo and conditioner for 17 straight days, and had to supplement the last two days with the hotel shampoo and I just used my deep conditioner for regular conditioner those last few days. They really are fantastic. If you travel, you could fill them with anything, including making a tinier toothpaste than the ones you can buy in the travel size aisle. Read more

Great product. Exactly what I was looking for. I use a thick ointment for my chapped lips, but it came in a very bulky and large squeeze tube. I've since been able to transfer the product into several of these very convenient empty gloss balm containers. I keep one near my bedside, one at my desk, and one in the bathroom. The tip snaps shut very securely and I've had no issue with the ointment leaking during use. I would be comfortable putting one of these in my pocket without having to worry about it leaking. PLEASE be aware that these tubes aren't totally air-tight. They aren't as durable as I would like. After you tightly screw the cap on, you are still able to squeeze some of the air out of the tube. The air rushes out from around the cap, and within a blink, the tube becomes depressed. This doesn't give me much confidence at all. The product inside may easily leak and be constantly exposed to the air... meaning the lip gloss will not last OR stay inside the tube. I'm pretty bummed. I was really excited to use these tubes for lip gloss, and full of hope that it would work. But unfortunately, that isn't the case. There isn't anything validating the safety of this plastic, and no mentions about it being BPA free. I'm assuming that it isn't. Update: I decided to test one of the tubes anyway, because I needed it a couple nights ago. I made a nice liquid hand moisturizer using vegetable glycerin, aloe vera gel, almond oil, and 2 drops of lavender essential oil. I tried some out immediately after, but it was an urgent gift for my mom. She has super dry and painful split skin around her fingernails, so I wanted to act quickly. I hadn't realized how severe it was, so I figured this is much better than nothing. She loves my moisturizing concoction, but I have yet to hear about the efficiency of the tube. So we'll see. I do however, like that regular lip balm tube labels fit perfectly on these, and they seem to stay on securely so far. Read more
