I have very sensitive eyes, which has led to an obsession with large, over-sided sunglasses, and these glasses did not disappoint! I have dozens of pairs in all different colors and styles, and this is a great addition to my collection. The cat eye is executed perfectly, and the colors are just as shown. The lens is not reflective, but dark enough that an onlooker cannot see through them. The polarized lens in a lifesaver, enabling me to be outside for long periods of time, whether sunny or overcast (overcast days are worse for those with sensitive eyes!!). These glasses have gone to the beach, on long car rides and walks, and they provide the perfect amount of protection. The glasses fit well. I feel as though I have a larger-than-average head, and sometimes the glasses I get are a little too tight on my face. These can sit comfortably for hours. The biggest downside, as with any oversided pair that sits flush against the nose, is after wearing for prolonged periods (or on super hot days), the nose sweat is real. I tend not to wear these on my daily walks, as I will have to wipe the sweat off my face periodically. For days like these, I wear a pair of glasses that has the nose bridge. When not in use, I keep the glasses in the soft bag provided. It keeps the glasses protected from me throwing my purse on the seat in the car, etc. They've been dropped and tossed around occasionally if my kids get ahold of them, but so far they have held up with no distortion in shape and no scratched lenses.
