This beef tallow balm is whipped, so the texture is light, airy, and spreadable. It locks in moisture without feeling greasy afterwards. I don't know if the chamomile and grapefruit make a difference, but it's nice to use. It says unscented, but I think it has a very mild, clean and fresh scent. I ran it by the wife and she had no objections to the smell either. I'm not sure why it's "for men," but I assume it's just a marketing thing. I think it's great for everybody. I actually like this beef tallow balm. even though it’s “unscented,” it has a natural smell that I like. It feels really moisturizing and nourishing on the skin. The texture is a bit sticky, but I don’t mind it because it melts in nicely once you warm it up in your hands. Read more

In the winter cold months, my skin gets dry with the cold and harsh wind. When I got this, I began to see the difference right away. Not only does it protect my skin from harsh winter weather, but it also smooths out and hydrates my skin to help against wrinkles. I like that it is non-fragrant and not sticky or heavy. It is not noticeable, and without no smell. Overall, it hydrates my skin well, and it does not have any side effects like other creams, where I feel irritation due to a heavier cream texture and ingredients. This Beef Tallow does not leave a residue, and my skin likes it. I enjoy using it daily, and now that I use it, I can see the benefits of how it protects and nourishes my skin. I expected this balm to be a lot heavier, but it’s surprisingly light once it’s spread on my skin. I’ve been mainly using this tallow moisturizer as a hand cream and I have really dry skin. It’s winter, and I’ve found it more helpful to moisturize while the hand is still damp, maybe my skin is too dry, but it doesn’t seem to do much for me when used directly on dry skin. When used correctly, it leaves my hands feeling super soft and non-greasy. the balm has a very faint floral scent which I’m guessing is probably from the beeswax or shea butter? Not sure whether my skin actually absorbs this but it definitely seem to lock the moisture in. For extra moisture I like to use a thick hand cream after the tallow. Read more

Tallow creams are the new craze in my household due to their natural abilities to help the skin without all the added chemicals. This cream has been great for after shaves and helps ease some of the burns from shaving that I may get. It’s easy to rub in and doesn’t leave any white streaks and doesn’t feel too heavy on the face throughout the day. It’s great that it’s unscented and when I get some on my lips I don’t taste any nasty flavor. It just takes a little as it goes a long way when rubbing it in. Curious why this beef tallow face cream is "for men." Seems silly to try to limit for one gender- especially with as good as this seems - being used and appreciated by a woman....
