If you suffer from wrist strain during long typing sessions, this LIZPARE Keyboard Wrist Rest is a fantastic solution. I’ve gone through several standalone wrist rests, but this one provides immediate relief and is by far the best I’ve used. Unlike standard pads, this rest elevates the keyboard at a very natural typing angle, which has made a noticeable difference in my comfort level. The build quality is impressive; it looks great on the desk and feels durable enough to last a long time. It offers excellent value and is 100% worth the price. I currently use it with a 60% ten-keyless keyboard, so there is significant leftover space on the sides, but I knew that going in and it doesn't bother me. This is an all foam keyboard riser with full length wrist rest, have tried it out for a few weeks and seems to be holding up pretty well. Bottom is a rubber type material that keeps the riser from sliding around easily. Back has a slight incline to bring your keyboard up to a better positioning and wrist guard has bump type ridges that are soft enough where they are not noticeable and don't cause any rubbing or issues, helps keep your wrists in a good position to not cause wrist strain. This is for a smaller sized keyboards, measurements for where you put your keyboard on the riser are: 17" long x 5" tall. The generic keyboard I have in the photo is 18" x 6.5". I normally use a mechanical keyboard which is much larger. Does the riser need to totally fit your keyboard? No. Personal thoughts: It works as intended, I usually don't use wrist rests or stands, just use the height tabs on the back of my keyboard but have gotten used to this over a few weeks and can't determine if it helps or not. Would probably notice if it did or would need if previous wrist injury. This thing does fit a mechanical keyboard which are huge but it's kind of wonky, seems a bit off but not something you can't get used to, doesn't inhibit game play, but only using left hand/wrist Pros: Nice quality, doesn't seem to have any defects or issues. The fabric is nice, well put together overall. Value for what you are getting seems like a great price. It's functional for keeping your wrists from getting an injury, could see this being very beneficial if you type a lot. Cons: This thing reeked like chemicals out of the bag which is typical as all memory foam smells, had to let it air out for several days before using it. If you're at your keyboard often/all day and know what your desk mat/mousepad/wrist guard looks like after awhile, this is totally a guess but I'd imagine the skin cell gunk stuck in the grooves over time. I ordered this wrist rest with the keyboard stand because I spend a lot of time typing, and I wanted something that would make my desk setup more comfortable. Is this nice? Sure. Does it do a lot to make typing more comfortable? Ehh. I haven't noticed the biggest difference between something like this, and just a regular wrist rest with good posture. I give this 5 stars in quality and feel; however, it may not work for you and your situation. I'll explain: This installs under the keyboard, so some keyboards with a natural angle to them are automatically going to be a bad fit. Also, the width of this is just barely under that of a full size keyboard, so if you have a "96%" sized board or under, it's probably a match. It is soft and squishy, and some wrists are going to want a bit more support. However, and this is where my son loved this pad and why he has it in his room now, because it's underneath the keyboard, it heavily damps the board to desk interface and makes it much more quiet to operate (which he appreciates). So, if you have this items covered (slightly shorter board, a flat board, and your wrists are good being on a soft, squishy surface), this is a unique choice that should serve you and your ergonomics well.
