I'm so impressed with this battery operated vest first of all whatever the fabric is this is made out of I it would be amazing in a bedroom set The zippers are very well made and I love the way at the end of it it has a fold over flap that protects that end from hooking on things you only see that in high end clothing You got an inside pocket You unzip that and your battery goes right there it's got a push in plug it has a digital readout so it'll tell you what percentage your battery is in I like the ideas in a pocket cuz if you don't want to be seen walking at night that's a good thing to have if like you're a hunter The whole reason I got it is the area across the middle of my back every winter feels like you glued a 1-in thick 15-in horizontal bar right there to my back and it's so cold it's uncomfortable and this jacket didn't let down within literally moments I don't think it was a minute if it's on high it's already getting hot and I can tell from that although for me I turned it to low in just a few minutes because I didn't want to get too hot but I can see like if you were enjoying outdoor events skating I can see it in you know things like skiing horseback riding I mean a multitude of things Even in your home it would give you the ability to set your thermostat down a little and wear it it's on love has a 10-hour battery thing The fast charger comes with it everything is really made well and it's a new technology you don't feel any bulky wires and of course to turn it off and on you got to either plug the battery in or unplug it they are Asian maid so I would tell you to go bigger since we're going into winter and with elderly people unless you're a diabetic I would not wear any heated item if I was a diabetic due to damage skin sensitivity and if you really wanted to make a person's year wouldn't it be a nice thing to give to a homeless person on like Christmas Eve the battery will stay charged 10 hours on low it's a state of the art technology and so many applications just use your imagination I even heard other people say you could put it in your sleeping bag and it'll really warm your sleeping bag I highly recommend it I think it's going to be the best money I've spent in years The miser in me finally was not able to sustain it any longer and I went for the bigger better deal I do believe cuz I read tons and tons of reviews I think when you look at the quality of the item the versatility of the item unless I would see some other variety that's an improvement it got five stars and that's really hard to maintain on Amazon I had a slight issue which I address following the instructions on the insert card I have no doubt that they will be in touch and resolve it to my satisfaction in the meantime if you're tired of winter and all you can think about is I'm going to be cold for months just break down and get yourself one you will not regret it it's 27 out right now and I'm wearing it while watching TV I am toasty like I've been in front of a wood burning fireplace except my face doesn't feel hot I have an issue with the battery had a little crack on the external window customer service was all over it super quick response by email and I've already received the replacement battery you just can't go wrong with this product I did a lot of research before I bought it was the only one that got five stars and it has really lived up to it I wanted to come back after I had more time to use it it dropped unexpectedly cold like down to 12° and oh my gosh slip on my vest within moments I actually was a little too hot so I had to turn it down to low but I ended up sleeping in it talk about a bug and a rug I was so toasty warm no longer will winter element stop me from participation I'm putting on my vest and stepping out into the winter wonderland Read more

This is a great very warm vest. Lasts about 3 hr and can get an extended life battery that gives it 4 hrs plus of the highest heat setting. Really good quality and very easy to use. Need to be careful with battery pocket zippers as they can get the material caught in the zipper and need to rezip the pockets to get it to close but all good if you are careful. I would prefer a bit more snug fit. 3 stars for poor battery capacity with no ability to use any other battery pack. Additionally, the heating elements weren't great.
