Middle of the ground with thickness it's not a cheap thing costume feel but it's not your typical heavy suit. Which I much prefer. It's lightweight but not cheap. 3.5 stars I ordered this for my 14-year-old son for his upcoming Freshman Homecoming dance this month. It arrived on time and without any delays, which was a plus because a read a couple of reviews where it didn't make it on time or it just barely made it. For reference my son is 6'1" and 140 pounds and I ordered the medium for him. The suit jacket and vest fit him perfectly. The only problem we had were the pants. They were the perfect length, but the waist was too big. I didn't think I would be able to just return the pants, so I plan the alter them to fit him. Another problem we had with the pants was that there were what look like holes where the pockets are/should be but I'm not sure I would call it that. It almost looks like when it was sewn together it was overlooked. I plan to fix those as well before the dance. I honestly feel that the price was fair even with all the alterations I am going to have to do but I didn't like the fact that it didn't come with a tie but yet it is pictured.
