Buying this for the X-Box would not disappoint anyone. There are no special features other than the "skin" or design is Gears of War 5. As long as you like the feel of an xbox controller you will really not have any issues with it. I primarily bought it for playing some games on my iPhone. Pairing with an iOS device was simple. It is no different then pairing with any other bluetooth devices. Turn on the controller in pair mode, go to settings->bluetooth, and then tap on Xbox Game Controller. Done! Now games are a lot easier for me to play then using virtual controls. I also tried it out on my Firestick TV 4k. Went into the settings there to pair it and very easy to do. My only caution on this is if you pair it with your Firestick TV and mobile device, there may be some competition there between devices. What I mean by competition is if the Firestick is on as well as the mobile device, in my case my iPhone, they both were trying to pair with the controller at the same time. Only one could do so. I had to either make sure the Firestick was powerless or my phone's bluetooth was off during the initial startup. One the device I wanted to pair with connected, I could turn the other device back on and no worries. Just a heads up. Otherwise a great controller at a great Black Friday price. Glad to have one. You won't be disappointed in getting this version of Microsoft's controller. It does stand out, but in a subtle way, from the standard controllers. This is a nice controller for the price. It far exceeded my expectations. This purchase was made because I had family in for Thanksgiving and figured I would use this controller as extra, that quickly changed after examining it. Here’s the lowdown as I see it for Gears 5 Xbox one controller, besides the great graphics and free downloadable content, it is extremely comfortable to hold, the right and left sticks as well as the triggers are textured. Speaking of the two sticks there don’t feel cheaply made, in fact they have a smooth, almost a glide to them. I would highly recommend buying this. My son said the grip on this controller is AWESOME-SAUCE!!! He loves it & the cool design is just a bonus! Thanks Microsoft. ***UPDATE*** buttons just popped off & my son wasn't even using the controller. He had it on the charger & picked it up & the controller just fell apart in his hand. I've spent $90 on this controller & when I contacted *action gear* they said too bad it was my lost....like really? Someone pays almost $100 for a controller & you won't even "replace" it? Especially when a part just falls off of the controller? My son is a keyboard player so he barely used the controller. Yes it's been 2 months that we had it, but given the fact the amount of money I paid you would think they would make a controller that's of higher quality. Read more

This is a very nice controller, I like the feel of it, like the rubber grips and is easy to use. Nice to look at and feels durable, was an awesome decision to get, hope the controls don't get bad like my last one. But so far very nice. just an excellent Xbox wireless controller.. not much else to say. has a good tactile grip ability to it, doesnt slip out of your hands, looks great. bought this as an extra to go with my original that came with system. really zero complaints. i read about "lag", and i cant say i cant tell if there is any.. 5 stars all around..
