I am 5'5, apx 180lbs and the large in light beige fit perfectly. They are not completely see through, but wearing nude color undergarments is a must. I was amazed at how lightweight and comfortable these are.. Not to mention looking sophisticated casual. I am 46, Mama to a beautiful 10 yo daughter and these pants paired with a dark grey dressy tank, matching T.B. sandals and bag, coordinating jewelry was the perfect elevated "Cool Mom" look while still being comfortable in the Florida heat. Obsessed with these. They’re so comfy, airy, and stunning. I wore these to the airport on my way to FL and to the beach as well. The fit is very comfortable so I recommend staying with your normal size. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage but I followed the washing instructions after all. It can get wrinkly but nothing that a quick cycle in the dryer or a steamer can’t fix. The quality is nice and not too see through as long as you wear like-colored underwear. My only complaint is that I wore these over my bright pink bathing suit. I put them back on when I was done swimming and didn’t realize until I put them in the wash that the color transferred on to the pants :( I’m not sure if they’re ruined or not but I’ll definitely buy a new pair if that’s the case bc I love them that much! Nice quality for the price. The lengthy is also good, but the pants are a little tight in the hip and thigh area for us curvy girls. I wear a size 12 and purchased a large. They are a perfect fit but u might want to size up. Not a lot of give in the hip area. Read more
For reference I’m 5’6” and 145 lbs. I have longer legs and shorter torso. I ordered Medium. These pants are the perfect length!! They hit just where I like them on the top of my feet. They are a wider leg and super stylish. Sit nicely on my natural waist and aren’t too low in the crotch. The fabric is light to medium. Not transparent. I dressed these up and wore them to work with a cute black tank and black flats and denim jacket. Versatile. Love love. Today I put them through the final test and they passed…. Washer and dryer! No shrinking. To be fair I dried them on low but not 100% just enough to remove any pet hair and to safely say they won’t shrink because YES I am ordering the two other colors. My coworkers have lots of compliments. “Dang, girl! You look cute! Where did you get those pants?!” TBH, my daughter bought them first and I said the same thing to her then bought some for myself. They were cute on but I wasn’t crazy about the fabric- just sort of thick for hot weather, not a nice light linen feel like I was looking for. I regrettably kept them anyway but they piled badly between the thighs after one wear and 32 inch length, which was perfect for me at 5’8”, shrank after the first wash. Fits the same otherwise.
