Lightweight summer sweater with retro vibes - here's a quote from the product listing: "Material: 100% viscose, breathable, lightweight, ice cool silk feeling." Absolutely perfect description of the material - check, check, check, check. Well, the fabric I can't personally confirm and take them at their word, but the rest is an exact description of what I got. It's a summer weight sweater that drapes very nicely, with a light open weave (see photo). I cannot physically gauge how warm/not hot it'll be on a cool summer eve. It's cold as Alaska outside my house right now, so I didn't test it. But from experience, it feels like it'll be the right touch, especially with a cami, tank top or crop top underneath. So think of this sweater as an add-on when a summer day's temperature falls a bit cool. This Boho description is commonplace right now, sometimes intended to replace 60s or 70s "retro" style. In the case of this shirt's design, it does reflect a bit of the 60s or 70s fashion colors and patterns. The vertical stripes and their colors remind me of shirts worn back then, which I like - a lot! Not at all unlike something I might have worn then - and yes I was alive TO wear something like this back then! I did order the wrong size - large, and I wear a medium - but I'm keeping it as I like it somewhat over sized. FYI, a medium would have been a good fit, and still have room for a summer shirt underneath. The sweater falls about hip length (I'm 5'5"). Overall, I'm very happy with the style and fabric of this sweater. I'll probably wear it way before summer comes around though, with a long sleeve, or even a turtleneck shirt underneath that pulls from the colors of the sweater, or just blends in with the base color. I received this short-sleeve top through the Amazon Vine program. It arrived neatly folded and sealed in a vacuum-sealed bag, which kept it compact and protected during shipping. The color is a pretty purple that looks just like the product photos. The material feels like a thin sweater knit – lightweight and breathable, making it ideal for warmer weather or layering in cooler seasons. It’s thin, but even up close (about 3 feet away in the mirror), it’s opaque enough that underwear isn’t visible, which is a nice balance for a short-sleeve style. Thicker fabric might feel too heavy for short sleeves, but this one strikes a good compromise. What I really like is how the weight of the material gives it a beautiful flow and drape – it hangs nicely without clinging, creating a flattering, relaxed silhouette. I intentionally sized up for an oversized, longer fit that I prefer for casual wear. It achieved that overall look well, but the “sleeves” are more like extended armholes without a defined sewn sleeve seam – the fabric just continues longer in those areas. This makes the arm openings larger and lower on the sides. It’s a design choice that adds to the flowy vibe, but it means I’ll likely wear a camisole or tank top underneath for more coverage. Quality-wise, there were no issues: even coloring throughout, consistent fabric feel, and clean stitching with no loose threads or defects. Overall, I’m very pleased with this cute, versatile top – it’s comfortable, stylish, and exactly what I was hoping for in a lightweight sweater-style shirt! Read more

This top is really pretty! The fabric is soft, more thick weight to it but very soft and smooth. The color is so pretty purple and the overall quality is very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the top and thought it’d make a great gift. The fit I’d say is true to size and lays well. Read more

I was very pleased when I received this lightweight short sleeve sweater! I ordered the green color because I was hoping for something festive to wear around the holidays, but also a color that I could use year round. I do absolutely love the shade of green! I live in a warm climate and this sweater is perfect for winter days that are still sunny. Tucked in, the sweater can be dressed up and looks really nice. Left untucked, it can be a casual throw on sweater with jeans! I especially liked the detail around the neck, the arms, and the bottom. It adds a touch of elegance, which can make this tired momma feel slightly more put together sometimes! I ordered a medium and probably could have ordered a small, but it’s hard when you are in between sizes most of the time. The sweater runs true to size with the size chart listed. Read more

I wish I would have taken pictures of this on before I washed it because it definitely fit a lot better then. I washed it in cold water and hung on a hanger to dry (you can see the hanger marks on the shoulders), so I would definitely lay this flat for drying because the armholes are now more restricting after being washed. The material is a lightweight cotton type material and has a nice quality feel, but it loses stars for not holding its shape well after washing. I like the colors of this shirt, and I like that I can wear it with slacks for a corporate casual look or with jeans for more of an elevated casual look. Read more

The fabric on this top is really soft, and the relaxed cut is flattering without feeling boxy. One thing to keep in mind is the vertical line design on the front. If you're well-endowed, the lines won’t fall straight the way they do on the model. They curve naturally with your shape. It doesn’t bother me at all — I actually like the way it highlights my figure — but it’s worth noting if you prefer a straighter visual line. The colors have held up well so far. I’ve worn it a few times and washed it once, and it still looks just as vibrant. I avoid the dryer and let it air-dry, so I can’t say how it handles heat or shrinkage, but I’m not willing to take that chance. Overall, it’s a cute, comfortable top that’s easy to style and feels great on. Read more
