I am not sure these are actually leather. I wish there were an easier way to know (like if Amazon confirmed on products like these). Or some shoe companies send a small tag with a scrap of extra leather to examine. Or even something printed on the shoe itself saying leather would be nice. The grain seems too unform and the cut edges don't feel right. I think this is vegan leather. Regardless, they're pretty good quality and priced well. I am between sizes and ordered up since I have wide feet. They fit fine due to the ability to tie them, but I think I could also have sized down. The sole feels durable and grippy. I believe it would be non-marking. It is, as another commenter mentioned, a tad squeaky, but not crazy. I was hoping for a darker blue/navy color... they are a little more towards royal blue than I hoped for, but I still like how they look. I wore them for two days without breaking them in and I did not get any rubbing or blisters. Overall I give these 4.5 stars...
