I have had dry eye syndrome from medication and hormonal changes since 2008, and these self-heating masks work better than any eye drops or warm wash cloths I have ever tried. I’m totally impressed! My worst time for dry, crusty, painful, itchy, red eyes is first thing in the morning. I used my first mask at 5 a.m. this morning. I chose unscented because I tend to be highly sensitive to fragrances. Fortunately, there’s no strange odor from manufacturing either. The mask was easy to put on and comfortable to wear. The material is soft and dry when you put it on. It quickly warmed to a comfortable temperature. The warmth was soothing, so much so that I fell back asleep with it on! When I woke up again, the mask was still in place. After I took it off, my eyelids were moist, and my eyes felt better. Even my under eye puffiness was improved. They have been about 85% less crusty, red, itchy and painful all day, nearly 12 hours later as I write this. I expect more improvement the longer I use them. I use this product at night before bed; sometimes falling asleep with it on. I really like that this product stays warm for at least 30 minutes as advertised. This is a lot longer than others on the market. I also like how easy the packaging is to rip with my arthritic fingers. The mask stays put and is comfortable on my face. It does seem to help alleviate eye pain from staring at screens, driving, and general dry eye. It is also effective at helping ease my migraines. I only gave it 4 stars because I don’t think it smells like lavender. In fact, it smells rather unpleasant to me. Still yet, I think there’s definitely value for your money here as you get over a month and a half supply for the price if using only nightly, and they work as intended. My eyes feel tired often and I started sleeping with one of these on almost every night. I put a normal cloth eye mask over this though and pull off the tails that go behind your ears. The heat only lasts for about 2 hours but I fall asleep quicker and they help me stay asleep! Read more
Where are my girls over 45? I struggle to fall asleep. I take magnesium, coq12, sleepytime tea and I still can’t shut my mind off. These eye patches are glorious. I put them on when I get into bed, they heat up with a lovely moist heat. And I am out like a light. I leave the mask on overnight and when I wake up in the morning, my eyes are moist and clear with no sleep creases. Forever will repurchase. Read more
These eye masks are OK. I purchased them after I purchased a different brand on Amazon thinking they would be the same. The quality is not as good as the other brand and they get just a little bit too hot. I would not dare fall asleep with these on and instead, I have to take them off every couple minutes to let my eyes cool and then I can put them back on. They have helped my dry eyes, but I would purchase the other brand next time. The fabric is ok, but again not as nice as a competitor. They fit well and have no odor.
