So far I really like the boots they have kept my feet warm and dry in the rain, we have not had snow yet so can't comment on that yet. I did buy a 1/2 size bigger so I could wear thicker socks for the winter but they are true to size. I would definitely buy again. Dec 27... Here in New York we have had snow a few times since I started my review, the boots are very good at keeping my feet warm and DRY! I did step into some large ice puddles and no issues with the inside being wet. Pretty good traction in the snow of course slipped a few times but it was icy. Read more

I was waiting until we had some winter weather to review these but I decided to try them out on a super rainy day here in NC last week where the sidewalks were slippery and the wind was blowing. First off, these are super comfortable. I'm a bit of a brand-snob when it comes to shoes due to my different sized feet (one is almost 1/2 size bigger than the other) and only certain brands fit me so I stick to them for all my shoe needs (boots, sneakers, etc). These fit me perfectly and they were super warm on the walk with my dog for a mile.. I didn't even feel the wind through them. The soles are super grippy.. there's a couple sidewalks around here that are mucky and super slippery when wet and these boots handled those areas perfectly.. no slipping at all. I'd feel confident walking on icy spots (carefully, obviously) in these when the time comes. No water got into the boots and the surface was easy to wipe off after the wet walk. I can't speak to the longevity of the waterproof outer since I've only used them once in wet conditions but the construction/quality of these boots look like they'll hold up awhile. I purchased these for an upcoming trip but have been wearing them ahead of time. They are true to size and so comfortable. Feet have kept dry so far. Ill update after I return from the trip as I'll be doing alot of walking and will get a true test of the waterproofing. Read more

I literally just got the box just now and the shoe itself is extremely cold from the delivery process so when I placed my foot inside of the shoe, the shoe is still very cold. then I opened up the shoe to try it on, and it brings a little pamphlet and in the pamphlet it basically tells you what to do in order to waterproof the shoe after every cleaning the whole point of me purchasing this was For Me to not have to do that process of waterproofing. It are the shoes stylish. Yes, they look exactly as I wanted them to and the they’re comfortable in the sense of the amount of space along with the shape of the shoe, which was something that was important to me, but overall the waterproofing was extremely important to me because of the snow outside and I feel let down due to the process that it would need in order to continuously waterproof that shoe, which is something I definitely didn’t want so unfortunately I’m going to have to return it and find a different shoe that is permanently waterproof. These are such gorgeous boots! Immediately out of the box I can also tell that they are made to last. The material feels premium, with strong metal grommets for the heavy duty laces. The fur looking part feels nice and plush. The soles are thick with great traction on the bottom. I normally wear 9.5 and these are the correct size on me. I think with the way the lacing is if you're a tad on the narrow or wide side it's fairly adjustable. They definitely feel warm but it will be a bit before I'm able to truly test it out in the snow this winter, I just wanted to get ahead of those upcoming adventures. Still, just from putting them on in my chilly office I think they'll be good. The material also at least appears to be the waterproof kind. Winter boots often look clunky, but these look fantastic and stylish. The beigebrown color on the sole matches the metal grommets for the laces on the black ones that I got. It adds just a bit of color but overall it's still a neutral color and I know these will look good with pretty much all of my outfits. The fact that they're kind of slimmer in the way they look also means they're not very heavy. I've had heavy boots before and they can get really tiring when you're stomping around outside. So this will be great for some of those longer hikes. Read more
