I had not used one of these Gua Sha facial tools before but I was intrigued by all the massage capabilities and decided to try it. My favorite way to use it is for scalp massage after a stressful day at work. The tines are nicely spaced apart and provide relaxation across the scalp. I have not seen a reduction in facial puffiness after using this as described, however, I believe I need more practice with how to hold it and move it across my face. This is great for getting rid of the puffiness in your face from fluid buildup. It does not actually help you lose weight, it just moves the fluid out so it can be properly metabolized. The shape is perfect for both large and small areas like cheekbones and the bridge of the nose. You could also use the larger side for other areas of the body. It is made of some kind of plastic so it is not as luxurious as the jade or even metal ones but it still gets the job done. Nice multifunctional tool for Gua Sha lymphatic drainage, or even for breaking up fascia. Nice nubbin size to dig in a bit and get down to the muscle on arms and hands, neck and face. The end is a nice scraper type traditional Gua Sha tool, , and the u shaped end fits well over the nose. I really like pressing into the side of the nose a bit by the eyes, carefully of course. The curves of this gua-sha tool are all functional for releasing tension in various parts of my face and body. I use the teeth on my scalp where I apparently hold a LOT of tension. The spokes on either end are great for my temples and jaw. The smooth edge makes my forehead feel amazing. I sometimes use the broader spoke for trigger release on my arms to relieve carpal tunnel.
