Possibly the best sinking wafer out there. Corydoras love these, and will come to them in seconds. They are big enough that my other fish won't try to eat them on the way down. They will sink fast, and hit the bottom of the tank within 3 seconds (12-18" deep tank). They don't get mushy as fast as some wafers, and yet they aren't so hard that the fish can't enjoy them immediately. I find 1 wafer per 3 adult Corydoras (2-2.5" long) per day keeps them at a good weight. I buy big container and freeze and refrigerate the extra, and just get out a little at a time for maybe a months worth. Read more

All plecos I have seen to only prefer this brand. I’ve tried other brand but they don’t eat them. I have blue eyed lemon, calico BN, longing dragon, phantom blue, candy cane, peppermint, honeycomb, and orange seam. They all seem to prefer this brand to any other. I put a couple in my tanks at night and by the morning they’re all gone. My geos even like these. It’s a great brand and has a lot of health benefits that you can get from some other pleco food. These pellets seem to be tasty for the right aquarium residents, but a relatively short period after putting them in (couple hours maybe) they start disintegrating and making a huge mess, even sometimes floating to the surface in pieces. My whiptail catfish eat them, but only in the dark, so I have to feed them right before bed. The various other detritivores like to clean them up as well, so I have to be careful not to put more than about one pellet in a day or their populations will explode. Read more
Everybody loves it! This new batch I bought seemed to disintegrate a little easier (not a good thing) than my last tub. After keeping in the freezer, the wafer stopped falling apart. All of my fish love it, not just bottom feeders. As a tip, to keep it fresh, I portioned it out into baggies and put back into tub to store in the freezer. That way I only take out about 1-2 weeks worth at a time and keep in an air-tight container. When portioning out, I took the “dust” that was In the bottom and mixed it in with my Repashy Gold, so no waste! Guppies, goldfish, corys, shrimp, snails, betta, plecos, tiger barbs all love it. For the review that says it stinks, mine do not stink. They smell like fish food and smell much better than Repashy or any flake food. I’ve purchased 3 of the 2.5 lb tubs and will only buy this brand from now on after trying at least 4 other algae wafer. Read more
