This messenger bag is exquisite. The leather is full-grain cowhide leather and is beautiful but has no off-putting smell to it either. The flap on the bag closes with two magnets on the front. No latches or snaps or anything else to worry about. It's not big enough for my laptop, but is perfect for an ipad or tablet or a couple kids tablets for on the go movement. This is a pretty good bag. I wasn't familiar with the brand before I ordered so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the quality is excellent. Really great full grain leather and solid, neat stitching. It feels like the kind of bag that will still be with me twenty years from now, and still looking great. The only reason I can't quite give this the full five stars is that the design is almost identical to a camera bag I own, and I'm just getting negative associations with it. I am beyond impressed with the quality of this bag. The leather is beautiful, soft, and supple. The bag itself is spacious with a decent assortment of pockets/pouches. The zippers are all smooth and the strap is easily adjustable; the magnetic closure is well-balanced (firm and definitely closes but is not overly strong that needs to be hulked open). This feels like a quality bag. The leather is soft, the zippers work well, and it has lots of pockets. It's also fairly slender, a plus. A brand name is prominently stamped on the front (XuanWei), however, so make sure you're OK with that. I would not have considered it, had I noticed that ahead of time. Another nice thing are the magnets, so there is no fussing with latches. You just pull up on the flap and it opens, then flap it back to close and secure it. This is well designed. Read more
