Its sturdy, its shiny, I got it in gold and it adds glamor easily. The chain hook is quite sturdy and I've been careful to not have it become scratched. I've only just had it a little while now so if it deteriorates quickly or proves easily damaged I'll update my review but currently I'm pleased with money spent on it.
