Jillaroo is a pretty good moisturizer. It contains some good ingredients like jojoba seed oil and Vitamins A, C, and E. It also contains aloe vera and beeswax, which are ingredients that generally work well on my dry, sensitive skin. One ingredient I hadn't heard of is Kakadu plum extract, which I believe is the source of Vitamin C in this moisturizer. This product also contains dimethicone and cyclomethicone, which are silicones. These aren't dealbreakers for me, but they could be deterrents for anyone looking to avoid silicones. I would prefer a pump container for this product. The consistency is on the thinner side, and it can be easy to dispense too much from the tube. Also, be careful when you unseal the tube! When I removed the seal, moisturizer came oozing out of the opening. If I hadn't been quick to put my hand in place to catch it, I would have wasted a lot of the product! While this moisturizer is fragrance-free, it's important to remember it is NOT scent-free. It has a very mild aroma, similar to that of other fragrance-free skincare products I've used. I don't find it to be bothersome or to linger for very long after application. My skin absorbs this moisturizer well, but it is not as intensely moisturizing as I had expected. Their story is that it's "inspired by the resilience of Australian Jillaroo cowgirls who face the harshest elements daily" and that it will be your "go-to for skin resilience." I would say this moisturizer is pretty average. It's currently winter here in the Midwestern United States, and I think this moisturizer will be better suited for use during warmer weather and in less-harsh conditions. As the product indicates, it can leave a slight sheen on your skin. I would assume this is—at least partially—a result of the beeswax. It leaves me with a healthy-looking glow. Speaking of beeswax, one of the listing images displays the PETA logo. Both the listing image and tube also show PETA's cruelty-free logo. However, this is odd because PETA does not consider products containing beeswax to be cruelty-free. Read more
