I have had a DBPower unit for about 5 years and used it 4 to 5 times in that span. It worked great and held its charge even though I did not charge it back up as instructed to extend its life. Probably charged it once every 18-24 months. It finally crashed on me (swelled up and popped the case in half), even though it still had a 70% when that happened and could have jump started a car in spite of being swollen. So I tossed it and went searching for a replacement. Really struggled with all the different reviews. Seems like they all have a handful or more (5%-7%) of 1 Star reviews proclaiming them to be a piece of junk. I came to the conclusion that, as long as they have close to 90% of 4 & 5 Star reviews, it has to be good enough for me. This unit did not have huge numbers of reviews but scored 96% 5 Star. For its moderate price range I figured what the heck. If it fails in 2-3 years (doubtful), the cost per year is a dinner for two. It was at 96% charge upon delivery so I charged it to 100%. Had a weak battery in my F150 and this jump started it immediately upon my key turn. Then I remembered that I have 3 wheel barrows and 1 dolly (hand truck) that are not at full inflation so I inflated 5 tires to their max psi. Instructions are extremely well written, easy to follow, and in large enough print that they are legible without reading glasses. On each one, I set the unit to the maximum psi recommended for each tire and the unit shut off when the target psi was reached. When I was done jumping the truck and inflating the small wheeled devices this was at 96%. Good jump starter with the extra features. Oh, and also....all other brands have a small round LED light that is directional and really of no use when jumping in the dark. First of all, let me tell you that the shipping was excellent from Amazon. The delivery time was between 5pm and 10pm and I receive it at 5pm. This is an excellent charger. It had 47 percent charge when I received it. I fully charged it and decided I would read the instructions and prepare to use it the next morning. Well, it’s the best! My 19 Corvette started the first try. If you’re a single woman, this is a must have. Throw away those big old charging cables and buy this one. The battery charger is very nice. The battery charger face is large and can be read easily. It’s very well made. The flashlight works well on the different settings. I haven’t tried to air up my tires or charge phones etc yet but I’m sure it will work fine wherever I have to use it. No more waiting in line at Discount Tire lol. This thing is a beast! Ive used it twice since I got it to air a tire and crank my riding lawnmower. It works well and is super handy for sure. It’s also built well and is rather heady duty but like most people say it has short cord connections. So all in all, it shines other than that and it works as advertised. Nice compact kit. Have used it to jumpstart vehicle - works well. Also great for tire inflation. Stops at preset tire pressure. Glad I bought this instead of a designated tire inflator.
