I've used drafting tables off and on during my time. This table is simple and actually stable for what you're getting, which is a nice little basic drafting table that has three height adjustments from flat. Assembly was fairly easy, too. Now, with regard to that assembly stuff. Check that you have everything. We had every screw but one, which was a minor detail as it only dealt with the adjustable lip to keep your work from sliding off the angled surface (I went to Lowe's and bought some for $1.50) and not worth quibbling over. Take your time and have another present to help in the stand assembly, which is pretty straight forward. Now, when screwing into the board itself, remember not to torq it hard. Screw until just snug, NO MORE, or you will strip the hole. Otherwise, all is fairly easy. The adjustment mechanism needed a second set of hands to get installed, otherwise no problem. I bought this table after reading some reviews. Several people were using it as a puzzle table and loved the fact you could tilt the tabletop thus saving your back while puzzling. The directions were simple and the pieces went together very well. I had a little trouble aligning a bolt on piece #4. The nut plate was slightly off so I had to start that bolt first before the other 3 bolts. Other that that it went together really well and I was by myself. Once assembled it is very sturdy. I’m going to felt the top so puzzle pieces won’t slide when the tabletop is tilted. I feel I got a really good table at a great price. Highly recommend. This was very easy to assemble, but it did require a second person to lift the top and hold it in place while the other person bolted it on. Do not try to do it yourself. Also, pay attention to the diagram because it is easy to mix up some of the parts. I am using it for an art table, but since it does lay flat I am also using it for a patio table. So two for the price of one! It is very sturdy and nice looking. I left off the pencil tray at the bottom because I don't need it. Read more

There's a lot of space for different size canvases and when you have the desk adjusted to lay flat the catcher piece falls down so it's not in your way which is a nice little feature! Extremely sturdy and easy to adjust heights!! My boyfriend was able to assemble on his own for the most part, but did need me to hold up the top of the table on a couple steps so would have an extra set of hands just incase. Read more
