Simple, honest reviews!—April 16, 2025
THE most comfortable office chair EVER! The mesh backing is wonderful on my back and my husband's. That is an important feature for both of us since we both have bad back issues. We usually have to buy a curved back cushion for our hard plastic back chairs, but this chair is like heaven, and no need for a cushion! We are both older with disabilities, and the chair was fairly easy to assemble. Nice wide seat, very sturdy, and high quality. We may end up buying another and sell our older office chairs, because you can't do better than this for the money! Totally impressed with this design! Read more

I got this chair for like 50 bucks, on sale, and it was worth the money. If you're just looking for a simple chair and nothing flashy, this is for you. Easy set up and pretty cheap. It's pretty comfortable too. It's nothing crazy, just a chair with wheels, honestly. Read more

I’ve been using the Yaheetech Home Office Chair for about a month now, and overall, I’m really impressed — especially considering the price point. ✅ Assembly was super easy. I put it together by myself in under 30 minutes. The instructions were clear, all parts were labeled, and it came with the tools I needed. A great start right out of the box. ✅ Surprisingly comfortable. The mesh back is breathable and keeps me cool during long work sessions. The lumbar support hits the right spot for me, and the seat has a decent amount of cushioning — not overly plush, but definitely enough for regular 6–8 hour use. ✅ Flip-up arms = space saver. One of my favorite features! I can flip the armrests up and slide the chair right under my desk when I’m not using it, which is perfect for my smaller home office setup. ✅ Good adjustability. The height adjustment works smoothly, and the chair swivels and tilts just fine. While it’s not a high-end ergonomic chair, the basic adjustments make it comfortable enough for daily use. ⚠️ A few minor downsides: The seat could be a little deeper — if you're taller or have longer legs, you might find it a bit short. Armrests aren’t padded, so if you like resting your arms a lot, you might want to add some cushioning. Not ideal for heavy-duty or all-day intense use (like gaming marathons), but great for office or study use. Bottom line: If you're looking for an affordable, good-looking office chair that’s comfortable, breathable, and easy to store, this is a solid pick. Great for students, remote workers, or anyone needing a budget-friendly upgrade. I'd definitely recommend it. Read more

Was a little daunted at first, seeing all the parts. And was worried about being able to assemble it solo (as I am the last person you want assembling furniture). However assembly was relatively easy with instructions (favorite instruction being the one of using the instructions lol) and chair is comfortable for a desk chair. Would recommend 2 people to put it together when attaching the back to the bottom however as this will make it easier/faster. Even so, I was able to do it solo with the aide of my coffee table, so it is possible to do alone. Took about 20-30 min to assemble (everything you need to assemble is included). Overall, I recommend the chair and would purchase again for anyone looking for a good but cost effective chair. Read more

I love the color, comfortable but in less than a year: Why does my adjustable office chair keep sinking? How To Stop An Office Chair From Sinking - Manutan UK Blog A pneumatic office chair has a single-acting cylinder. This is a spring that has been filled with air. When the piston is moved further out of the chamber, the air inside the chamber expands, allowing the seat to lower. If your chair keeps sinking, this means that the cylinder is no longer working. The chair has three major flaws. 1) It wobbles slightly from side to side. The fault seems to be where the seat bracket attaches to the piston. It is fine when you're completely stationary, but every time you move you'll feel the wobble, which is more annoying than you would think. 2) Because there is no cushioning on the back, you'll feel the hard plastic "lumbar support" piece pushing into your kidneys. You can adjust that support piece up and down, but it's VERY uncomfortable no matter where you set it. I tried adding various types of cushioning, but that just caused further comfort issues. I could live with the wobble but not the constant kidney punch. 3) Shipping is free, but it will cost you about $17 to return, which you won't want to do anyway--disassembly and fitting back in shipping box is a hassle when you're still not getting a full refund. Unless most people have perfect posture and never contact the back rest, then I don't understand the positive reviews. I'm an average weight and height for an adult male, so it's not my anatomy causing the issues. It's unfortunate. the chair looks nice, it's easy to assemble, inexpensive, and the individual components seem well made and durable. It's my first time with a mesh-backed chair, and it wil be my last time buying a chair without cushioning on the back. IMO, unless you can return a chair for free, you should avoid buying one. And mesh backed styles might save money for the manufacturer, but they seem to be a bad idea for the average user. I took the gamble and lost. Hope this honest review helps save you some money and frustration. Read more
