This isn’t my first nail kit — I buy them every couple of years, use them for a while, pass them on, and then come back to doing my own nails again. I picked up this set after moving from another state, and honestly, it’s perfect for getting started. It’s not professional level, but it has so many gel colors. The bottles are small, but that’s actually nice because you can test a bunch of shades and figure out what you like before buying full-size ones later. The Uv lamp and tools are great, however, the base coat, polish and top coat are awful. It’s all very thick and sticky, but dries hard like it should, the problem is it will peel right off. I compare it to kids nail polish you buy at the dollar store. It doesn’t matter got much you file and sand down your nails it just doesn’t stay on with light to normal use. Pretty impressive for the price. The lamp cures well and the drill is strong enough for shaping and removal. polishes apply smoothly and cure without bubbling. The tools and accessories are basic but usable for beginners or casual at-home manicures. The only downside is a few colors need extra coats and the drill feels a bit lightweight, but overall it’s a solid starter kit with everything needed in one set. Read more
