I really like these clippers. They feel kinda flimsy and I was concerned at first but they work fantastic. I have no issues with them and they work great. They also do not have files on them so I am able to take them to work with me (I work in a facility where the files are not allowed). At first, I thought I had ordered the wrong size. I only knew of the real small and real big one, and I did not want more small ones, so I ordered this, thinking it's the bigger sized one. I turned out to be a "medium" size, and just the correct size (for me). I can get my fingernails, and I can also get my toenails too (a section at a time), so this turned out to be the GOLDILOCK's size... not too small, and not too big, but JUST RIGHT... !!! There is both good and bad for these fingernail/toenail clippers. The good: They are value-priced and are of decent quality. They look exactly like the pictures. The bad: No pointed fingernail sanding bar (that most people probably use to get grime out from under a fingernail). The cutting head isn't as curved as on most clippers (important if you need to dig in and angle-cut the edge of an in-grown nail: if you've never had to, don't worry about it; but if you have, you know what I mean about why this is a serious flaw for you). Spend the extra couple bucks and get better clippers. These totally fall apart after very little use. They worked about one time, maybe twice if you're lucky. The metal is so cheap that the blade portion chips almost immediately. Some of them are offset, so the two blades don't line up correctly. I wanted multiple pairs to keep in different locations (purse, car, bathroom, travel bag, etc). Some pairs I didn't use, but put into my camping backpack and the colored portion has just popped off. Call me crazy, but I'm rather particular when it comes to a lot of things, especially when it comes to hygiene. I've went through several different types of nail clippers and for the price and quantity, these are the best I've come across. They're plenty sharp enough, but not too sharp that they'll leave your nails so sharp that the next time you scratch an itch you won't damage or cut your skin. They're well-built and decent quality, as well. Another feature I like, and this may be just a personal preference, these don't feature that annoying little nail file/pick that many nail clippers have. For me, I just never use them and they always get loose and just swivel around and get in the way. Another nice touch with these is the matte black finish since I don't really want a blatant, shiny chrome finish when I use them. They're also large enough unlike the uncomfortable-to-hold tiny pointed handle ones I've used which occasionally slip and drop to the floor during use. Well, I guess I've said enough about something as trivial as a nail clipper, but these are great as I've become frustrated with searching for a consistent and reliable type.
