I read a lot of reviews, some accompanied with photos, that said that the ‘tin’ container was delivered dented. But I took a chance and ordered it anyway because I wanted talcum powder, not cornstarch. I’m happy to report that the metal container it came in was not dented at all. It was shipped in a bubble wrap envelope/bag. I knew the talcum powder was scented, I ordered lavender, but I didn’t think the fragrance would smell so strong, I imagined something with a lighter hint of lavender fragrance. I mean it’s fine, but there will be no need to use any other fragrances on your body when using this talcum powder! Read more

The lavender scent is classic, clean and fresh. It is a “real” lavender and not an artificial lavender scent which is wonderful to wear. The can is small, so you’ll probably have to purchase often. The reason this talc got four stars and not five is the powder itself. It appears **grainy and is very difficult to get a usable amount out of the can. I’ve tapped the can, banged it against the counter, and shaken very hard and still it’s very hard to get a usable amount from the can which is very frustrating! I think that I will order another one to see if what I received is “defective in some way,” because it is not the overall product expected from Yardley. ** I must add that what I am able to get out of the can does glide on the body very smoothly, and does not have a “grainy” feel expected with the texture as it appears coming out of the can.
