At first I was going to give this a 1 star, awful rating. Then I tried again...yay! Let me explain: I already had the shower going (warming up) when I remembered I had the caddy (wearing its new grippy collar) in my bedroom. Ok, retrieved it, got into shower and hoisted it up into position. Yow! Thing slid down faster than I could wash, had to push it up 5-7 times before finishing shower so it didn't fall & kill me right there (I have a lot of weight in bottles on caddy). Awful! The next day I thought "well, maybe I need the adhesive hook thingies". Hook Thingies far too small to possibly fit my caddy. Drat!! Then I thought that maybe because the new grip got wet on the way up it had made it slippery. BINGO! Hung the caddy up while everything was bone dry--stuck right in place. Even tugged a bit like I might if getting a bottle out of the basket...stuck still! Showered, messed with it: worked perfectly! TLDR: make sure the caddy with new neck grip is completely dry AS IS the shower neck when hanging so it holds fast without slipping. 😅 Read more

For what they are, these parts are built well. The top piece, which secures the shower caddy to the pipe is sturdy silicone/rubber, and the hook pieces are good plastic with good adhesive. But (for my applications, at least), they're miscast. The top piece grabs the top of the pipe just fine, but doesn't conform to the curve of the pipe, so the side grabbers don't function at all ... the result is that the top piece barely functions and needs close in support ... otherwise, the shower caddy just slides down the pipe. From my photo, you can see that I solved the problem by using one of the hooks (plus a nylon tie) to hold the shower caddy close to the wall. For a different shower caddy, I found that the hooks were too small and shallow to hook the main caddy wires, and so I reverted to using a nylon tie to secure a nearby caddy wire. We'll see how this works. Bottom line ... good parts, but badly designed. Salvageable, but only after trying several things. And yes, I'll replace the one black nylon tie with a white one soon. I am so happy I purchased this product. The little gripper for the top of the caddy is a total game changer. I have one of those shower necks that points downward and my caddy would just slip down off of it. I was breaking my head on how to fix that and this totally helped! The hooks I didn’t find to be useful for my issue but the rubber gripper - AMAZING. Read more
