This is a very nice, lightweight cardigan. The style is attractive and depending on the color you choose, it can easily be worn for a dressy occasion. I have several different colors of this jacket and wore the navy one over a navy sequin top for an evening, formal wedding. The 3/4 length sleeves are good for some coverage and add to the dressiness. The size is forgiving - order your usual size, as this item it true to size, or you may size up if you just want some extra room or "flowiness". Very functional, this 'cardigan' is super lightweight and perfect for wearing over a sleeveless dress at the office. One thing that I have a different opinion on --as versus other reviewers-- is that I would suggest you size up. I swear that despite being entirely synthetic, that this top shrank in the wash. Not a lot but I'm not one who likes tight fits in the arm or in a cardigan. I bought these for my mother and she loves them. She has a health condition that makes her upper arms sensitive and gets easily burned in spring and summer, so she needs to keep most of her arms covered to protect herself. These protect her arms well and the material is still breathable enough to keep her cool when she's out. The sizing on these is pretty spot on, and bonus, they work with larger upper arms, which my mother has. These are soft, easy to launder, and she wears them all the time. This top is very pretty and is light weight. I’m not sure if it will be too warm for summertime, even though it is light, the material is like polyester so that’s usually hot to wear. it is very thin, so whatever you wear underneath, it should be something thin and smooth also or it will show through. (Bumps and lumps) The sleeves are big enough for my large arms. It arrived extremely wrinkled and I spent at least 10 minutes trying to get the wrinkles out without burning it, and there were still a few wrinkles I couldn’t get to. The collar is a little bit odd, it doesn’t really fold over, it Just kind of drapes around the neck so look closely at that in the photo of the model, you’ll see what I mean.
