I like the natural color of the beard. The fact that the beanie is detachable. As the perfect cold weather gag gift for Valentine's Day, my husband have a hard time growing his beard out. And since his job has out in cold weather this was perfect. We get to laugh instead of over exaggerating a romantic holiday. The beanie is still very warm and functional for everyday use. I would have preferred more of a chin strap mask with the full beard it is all just from one string that goes below the lower lip tightens up along the mustache and then strings down it could have been Fuller and a little bit more sturdy with a knitted chin strap method. But for the price it's really full it's just metal the needs and soft it doesn't leave like this itchy yarn kind of feels very soft across the face. My husband has a very thick push broom like mustache so I will be modifying it to attach the below the lip scene over the mustache and if it's just fine as if it was just the beard and no mustache portion. Also I will be fixing the braids they're very loosely done probably cuz the amount of material isn't very hefty or maybe it was during shipping and packaging that it just kind of came and done a little and I want the solid three braids to be very present. I'm waiting if I want to do any sort of embellishments with beads or anything of that nature but I don't want it to be too heavy that it doesn't hold well to the face. If you embellish it too much it will stretch the yarn so I need to reinforce it as well all of it's very doable it's just how much time do you really want to put into it when it was so cost effective just as it is. A friend of mine had a "Prohibition" Halloween party. I went as a Bootlegger. Everyone loved the beard! Since the party was outdoors in the northeast, you never know if it's going to be cold or not for Halloween. The hat and the beard kept my face nice and warm.
