A nice seasoning mix for an easy batch of chili. This TV show themed Yellowstone Cowboy Chili Seasoning was of good quality. The ingredients were similar to most other chili seasoning packages but not overly spicy. It was very helpful in making a nice batch of chili. It is a nice blend that was not too hot for family members that do not handle heat well. I made the chili with pinto beans instead, canned diced tomatoes with green chilies and lean ground beef it turned out good and hearty. In watching our sodium I used low sodium beans and no salt added diced tomatoes with green chilies. You do not need to salt the meat even. This seasoning has just the right amount of it for dinner. I usually use a different brand to make chili-but seen this Yellowstone advertised and bought two. I used lean sirloin hamburger and sauté half onion and two jalapeños before adding the meat. I doubled everything and it turned out wonderful. Read more
I was looking for a different chili seasoning and came across this one so i decided to give it a try. And it was delicious! It does have a little bit of spice and that builds up as you eat it but not to bad. The size of the package is normally what I buy and the price was great.
