I Wanted an inexpensive, low pile, flat, soft, bright area rug to fit my highly used family room. This rug was perfect. It looks like Christmas with its bright colors, and feels super cozy near the fireplace. It’s extremely soft which is great for my grandbabies to play on. I bought the 8 x 10 which fits well and appears to be staying in place. The price is great for what you get. It’s definitely not an exotic, fancy rug, but looks really nice. For an inexpensive area rug, it’s a good quality. It advertised as nonslip and it actually is. It’s soft under foot, and doesn’t need a mattress pad. I’ll be looking to see if the seller has any runners in another week or so. Read more

The rug itself is kind of high pile and fuzzy, not a low pile durable material. Very soft and feels good for winter. But the colors are way brighter than expected, there’s almost a neon orange/pink in the red carpet that makes it look cheaper to me. Not as sophisticated and timeless as it looks in the picture. First off, think MAT not rug. If I'd been wanting this for a proper rug, I would laugh all the way to the post office to exchange it. It is very thin, very flimsy and doesn't have great grip. In small areas or places where small rugs can be used to protect flooring or other rugs, these washable ones are wonderful. They are pretty and practical, and fit in my washing machine. However, "washable" also means size matters: It's difficult to put a 10' X 12' rug in a home washing machine. I have purchased three small washable rugs, and this one is super soft on the feet, and pretty good for wiping wet shoes, and capturing mud and debris Do be aware that washable does not mean they can also be put in a dryers. They can't. They need to be treated like a good wool sweater; lay them out flat in a dry place where warm air can circulate around, and pull and flatten to "size" them the way you do a good sweater..
